Gates & Barriers

CUBE Fire and Security partner with FAAC in providing a wide range of ‘Automatic Gates and Barriers’. Our range includes both “On-Gate” and “Under-Ground” automated gate operations. CUBE Fire and Security Automatic Gates and Barriers provide high levels of ‘Security’ for the assessed use, whether it be for ‘Residential or Commercial’ applications. Each ‘Automation System’ can be operated by either ‘Control Pads’ or ‘Recognition Systems’. Our ‘Automation Systems’ include ‘Swing Gates’, ‘Slide Gates’, which utilise both ‘current’ and ‘reliable’ technologies.

CUBE Fire and Security both install and maintain all ‘Powered Gates’ in accordance with the ‘EU Machinery Directive and Regulations 2008’ (S.I. No.407 of 2008 – Machinery Regulations 2008). This ‘Directive/Statutory Requirement’ places a duty on the equipment manufacturer of a ‘Powered Gate’ to ensure that before placing the ‘product’ on the market or putting it into use at any place, that it satisfies all essential ‘Health and Safety’ requirements and other related requirements, which are laid down in the other ‘tangible’ regulations. These Regulations give effect in Irish law to European Machinery Directive [2006/42/EC] (The Machinery Directive).
