The Standardised Process Associated With Sevice & Maintenance

Scheduled Inspections

In conjunction with an agreed service plan and contract the CUBE Fire & Security Company will conduct regular and scheduled inspection of the required fire & security system. The scheduled inspections are designed to identify any potential system issues, assess the condition of the system equipment and ensure compliance with all applicable and current regulations.

Testing & Certification

Routine testing of key system components, as defined by the equipment manufacturer requirements and/or regulatory/statutory requirements, such as, but not limited to, fire alarm systems, sprinklers, emergency lighting and other key system infrastructure equipment is a critical component in the delivery of the cube Fire & Security maintenance services. This includes the verification step, during the testing, certification routines, whereby the critical components of the system are testing to ensure that they function, as intended and conform to both manufacturers requirements and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Software Updates

Many systems require regular software updates and upgrades to ensure that the system remains current and capable of functioning as intended and designed. This includes updating firmware, software applications and system integrations.

Battery Replacements

CUBE Fire & Security monitor the condition of the batteries, during inspection and maintenance routines. It is critical that battery replacements occur in a timely manner, to ensure that the system can continue to function in the event of a power outage.

Cleaning & Calibration

Regular cleaning and calibration of sensors, detectors and other critical components is essential for the reliable operation of the system.

Fault Diagnosis & Repairs

In the event of a system malfunction and/or fault, the CUBE Fire & Security operational team of Engineers and/or Technicians shall interrogate the system to root cause the fault and efficiently repair the fault, returning the system back to normal operations. We always, strive to reduce both the downtime and inconvenience to our Customer’s, during the faulty diagnosis and repair activities.

Emergency Call Outs

CUBE Fire & Security understand the critical nature of all fire and security systems, with additional emphasis been placed upon lifesaving and preservation equipment. We provide 24/7, 365 days a year emergency call out support to our Customer’s.

Documented Reporting

The CUBE Fire & Security company has developed in conjunction with our CRM partner, a suite of job software applications, that have the capability to provide our Customer’s with detailed records and reports, associated with their system. Customers can obtain critical information, associated with their system, such as the status of the system, last maintenance report, maintenance schedules, issue identification and resolution. We also afford our Customer’s, with dedicated login credentials, that allow for remote access, via the Company website, to specific CRM documentation which relates to their system.

Training & Support

CUBE Fire & Security can both arrange and provide training for our Customer’s and/or their representatives. This training ensures that end-users are familiar with the daily operation of the system, including basic troubleshooting. This proactive approach ensures that Customers and their representatives are familiar with the technological capabilities of the system, adding increase value to the operational performance of the system.

Compliance Checks

CUBE Fire & Security can support our Customer’s in verifying that their system is compliant with all regulatory and statutory requirements.

Locally, Irish legislation places a mandatory requirement for both the provision and prescribed maintenance routines, for all emergency lighting systems located with public and commercial buildings. CUBE offers our Customers, a reliable, efficient and compliant maintenance program, with defined frequencies and which comply with the current related standard IS 3217:2013. All property owners have a legal obligation to have their emergency lighting system commissioned and maintained by an approved provider. Quarterly and annual maintenance inspections are required, with records of these maintenance routines also requiring nominated retention, for defined periods.
